Despite a plethora of yards within 10 minutes of home, I used to drive 30-40 minutes every week just to ride with Kristy. An accolade of its own. She is encouraging, patient and offers constructive criticism to improve your riding
Kristy is an encouraging, articulate and confident instructor. She has belief in every one of her students and that in itself bestows confidence in those who are fortunate enough to be her students. I travel out of London on a regular basis to make sure I have the best riding instructor, and that person is Kristy. Having a stressful City job means I need to enjoy the short time I have off and having Kristy as my riding instructor ensured that. I not only learnt a great deal and progressed quickly, but I also enjoyed every lesson and felt I made a great friend in the process.
I had lessons with Kristy for around 2 years, she helped me get my confidence back after I fell off jumping and is a fantastic teacher - encouraging and pushing you just the right amount. Her lessons are always fun and she never forgets to include the basics on a regular basis no matter how experienced you are. I don't have my own horse but if I did I would have no hesitation in placing it in her yard as I know it would be in excellent hands. I highly recommend her.
Kristy Mills is an incredible teacher who gave me the confidence I needed as a mature horsewoman to start to jump again. Her gentle but firm approach, combined with a dry sense of humour, makes every lesson memorable. I highly recommend you meet Kristy and experience her teaching.
I had regular lessons with Kristy for three years, and my horse was kept at a yard, largely under her care. There was never a dull moment and every lesson I finished feeling that I had improved some aspect of my riding, as well as having had a lot of fun and laughs. She also guided me through learning how to take care of my first horse and was a very patient, knowledgable and approachable teacher. Thank you Kristy! I am an experienced horsewoman thanks to you.

I have had quite a few lessons with Kristy and have seen her teach others. She is great with both adults and children of all ages and very obviously knows horses in general. I would have no problems recommending her teaching anyone of whatever age nor would I have any problem trusting her with my horse if I had one.

I have had riding lessons with Kristy at Berkshire Riding Centre for six years and she is a very accomplished teacher. and rider, her lessons are always fun but I never failed to come away without having learnt something new or an improvement to my riding skills.
I am probably not the easiest person to teach but she perseveres until the message gets through.
I highly commend her to anyone thinking of learning to ride or improve their technique and would be very happy for her to stable my horse.
